The tennis center is used for many other events also. Tom Fazio and Rees Jones have each designed a golf course in Daniel Island Park. These are private courses for members of the Daniel Island Club. The Fazio course is operating and the Jones course is expected to open in the Spring of 2006. Daniel Island is a small town with sidewalks and porches, much like neighborhoods designed in the early to mid 1900's. The public schools for Daniel Island are Hanahan Elementary, Hanahan Middle and Hanahan High School.
